The town delegate's meeting
The town delegate's meeting is the uppermost organ of a town. Their political composition is determined all 5 years with the local election by the elective citizens and female citizens of the town.
According to local election right valid currently may choose who has completed the 18th year, is German citizen for the purposes of the basic law or citizens one of the remaining member states of the European Union and is announced since at least three months with main residence in the town.
The number of the members of the town delegate's meeting is fixed by the number of inhabitants. In Fulda with about 65,000 inhabitants she exists of 59 town delegates.
